Any Oppo’s on Project Fi? Looking to dump ATT, and thats on my radar; however the per gb scares me a little. We generally use 10-15gb of data, which would make Fi more expensive than even Verizon. Anyone using it? Thoughts or opinions?

I’m currently using it, and am the only one on the plan. I’m just outside of metro Detroit and service is good, I have yet to have a problem with not having signal when I need it. The best thing is having a clean Android device without any bloat like from Verizon. I plan on using 2-3GB a month so it’s very economical for me and was cheaper than getting a 4GB verizon plan with a work discount.

And now when I go near Canada I don’t get bombarded with annoying messages about paying extra for service and all that bull, it’s all still the same price and it just -works-

I tried it for a month last December into January. I used WiFi a lot as I didn’t like the speeds I was getting as compared to VZW. I tried using it on NYE in Tampa and I couldn’t get messages out. Remote areas in Northeastern PA I had zero bars for service. If you use that much data it might not be worth it. It is worth a trial and since there is no contract and if you have a nexus you can just swap SIMs in and out.

Used to have it but switched to iPhone. In the D.C. area reception was great. I didn’t use nearly that much data but it was nice to not be charged for a whole gb if you on use part of one. It’s also AMAZING for travel. I took it to France and Italy for 10 days and service was great and hardly any more expensive than being in the US

I wish they had it for iPhones. I would switch immediately.
